Thursday, July 11: Dorsoduro Area Tour

It is Venice’s university district bustling with restaurants, shops and vintage fashion boutiques as well as home to some of the city’s most important museums.
In the neighbourhood we meet a very particular building: it looks like a mountain house, but it is the Squero of San Trovaso, a characteristic Venetian shipyard for small boats such as gondolas and other models of boats typical of the lagoon.
The Squero of San Trovaso is one of the oldest and still working: you cannot miss the opportunity to see the artisans at work!
